Our goal at the Solon Health Recovery Center is to aid the body in its effort to restore and maintain optimal health. The body is self-regulating and self-healing, we employ non-invasive, conservative measures to maximize the body's potential to self-repair. We do not treat symptoms; instead we cooperate with the body and eliminate the root cause of the illness. We combine the precision of modern diagnostic procedures with the wisdom of safe and effective, time proven natural medicines.
We offer gentle chiropractic adjustments for pain relief and restoration of normal body function. Research demonstrates that automobile accident and workers compensation injury victims who receive chiropractic treatment have 50% less time off work and 50% less disability, without drugs.
Dr. Krystosik emphasizes patient education to empower individuals to prevent disease. In Latin, the work for doctor, docere, means teacher. "Education, not medication" is out motto. Dr. Krystosik encourages you to take a proactive role in your health care. He will advise you on diet and lifestyle modifications, but ultimately it is your responsibility to implement them.

If your condition is beyond the scope of our care, we will refer you to a conventional physician who will use the least invasive procedures to correct your illness. Dr. Krystosik, affectionately know as "Dr. Good Carb," is a chiropractic family physician, with an additional degree in clinical nutrition. He is currently working toward a diplomat status in clinical nutrition. Dr. Krystosik is a noted author and nationally know speaker. He presents classes and workshops on the benefits of natural medicine across the nation. Your first visit will include a consultation and an examination. Dr. Krystosik will also determine if our health care approach is appropriate for your problem. He will advise you if any further diagnostic tests are necessary. Dr. Krystosik does not order tests unnecessarily. Only essential X-rays, MRI's, blood tests and other diagnostic tests will be utilized to determine the cause of your health care problem. If your case requires immediate attention, treatment will be administered.
To restore optimum health, we offer a full range of diagnostic and health care services, including:

Chiropractic care is covered by most health and accident insurance policies. Diagnostic laboratory and radiological tests are usually covered under most health care policies. You will find that our staff is well trained and enthusiastic. They know exactly how to process your insurance forms...in fact, we do all of the paperwork for you, so you will have minimal problems being reimbursed. Although we process your claims, payment is expected at the time of service.
